✨ Ludovico Einaudi presented the final part of the seven-volume musical project «Seven Days Walking» in the fall of 2019. Delightfully beautiful sketches of nature, moods and weather were made by him while walking through the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland.
Ludovico Einaudi is without a doubt one of the most prominent representatives of neoclassicism. But success and recognition were not easy for him. From childhood, the weight of the achievements of his family members dominated the Italian. Ludovico’s mother played the piano. Maternal grandfather was a composer and conductor of Italian operas. Father is a famous book publisher. Paternal grandfather — Luigi Einaudi — the first president of post-war Italy.
Ludovico sees himself as a guide to the world of classical music for a wide audience. His album «Elements» (2015) was a commercially unimaginable success — the only classical recording in the last 20 years to hit the UK Albums Chart. Einaudi’s soundtracks brought wide recognition. Largely thanks to his life-affirming melodies, the French comedy «1 + 1» touched millions of people around the world. The world famous Italian composer, pianist is the author of more than 20 numbered albums, as well as the soundtracks for the films «Black Swan» by Darren Aronofsky, «I’m Still Here» and «Mommy» by Xavier Dolan.
Einaudi’s music is a manifesto of slowing down and calming down.
